Need a android and iPhone Spotify ad blocker please it's fine if it's different links for each 1
Has anyone developed some machine learning tool which could identify the portion of video (esp. on YouTube) which contains sponsor ads ("shout outs" or whatever they call them)? This part of video often has different background music and/or video effects and pretty much always features the words "sponsor", "promo code", "link below/in description" and other bollocks, based on which we can tell relatively easily and precisely when such ad starts and ends.
At the moment I am using Truecaller but it is not really that efficient and I am mostly getting calls from banks and the telecom industry. Any way to block all those sale-sy calls.
If there is free app on the phone, then that would be preferred
Can someone who has Adblock Plus (ABP) be a dear and load Gizmodo.com?
This is the only site that I have a problem with and for the life of me, I can’t figure out why the blocks are not working.
Thanks in advance!
Hi guys, so i have an idea where you can block about 99.9% of youtube ads in native mobile apps in both iphone and android by just changing the users ip address to somalia using VPN, And the reason why this work is that google advertiser don't like to waste there money on undeveloped countries and google gave them a tool to exclude this country's with just one click,
I am from somalia and we don't see a single ad on youtube but when we use vpns to access some restricted websites from somalia like adult sites we see alot of ads on youtube while the vpn is on so by make a vpn which has servers only in somalia you can decrease the adds by 99.9% and google can't do any thing for now.
First i want to get some validation so what did you think about this idea?
Secondly if you think this is good idea will you co-found with me am software engineer i develop mobile apps and i can do the technical aspects of this idea but i need someone who lives in nort amerca or Europe who can do marketing and research?
Hey! Try blocking ads in Safari with AdBlock Pro. If you download it and use my code 05EAD069, you can unlock an extra feature (like blocking of video ads, tracking or cookie prompts). https://adblockpro.app/?r=05EAD069
Sometimes it works but most of the time the games are still giving me ads every second. My luna used to work great but now it doesnt work at all. I dont know how to fix this issue. All i want is to be able to play a game without ads.
I also use iCloud private relay that hide Ip location and browsing activity from safari. I never have issues or ads on you tube, Reddit, Twitter , yet Instagram I can’t block it . I don’t mind paying for app that will do it trough safari .
I've been using TTV LOL which has worked for me for months up until this week. Does anyone else have this issue and a solution?
adblockluna Blocks the App Store and Snapchat and Facebook is there anyway to make it so it doesn’t block these?
For instance, I use yahoo to look at news and yahoo only allows block sources up to 100 and even that never prevents them. My mind wants to explode with I see stupid $$$$ clickbait crap from Hollywood, some whore in a micro bikini breaking the internet etc. Any adblocker or article blocker or keyword thing to rid these? Also, anything to block imbedded ads? Even if I use adguard and add something each ad seems to be different for the ones I’m talking about on mobile scroll site.
Hi. Ive installed Adblock (just Adblock, not Pro, plus or anything else), but it seem to come with an app you have to run. Why? Does this app need to be in autostart or is it just used for updating of filters?
so in recent days i couldn't help but notice the excessive chime about ads and adblockers. do you think ad time's would diminish due to no traffic on the site? just maybe we need to stay off these platforms collectively for a short period of time .
I've installed adblocker for chrome but still get popups from mccaffee. Anything fullproof?
I found a website a while ago that had the addresses and what they did but I can't seem to find it anymore
Plenty of sites detect that you have an adblocker and annoy you with that stupid pop-up, demanding you to disable your AdBlock just to browse their site. I want an application that can shut these down as well.
Im so sorry if this is a simple stupid question, i am truly ignorant to this.
i want to stop popups on safari on my ipad. and firefox. and youtube. i mentioned ads in an article and someone on reddit said to add an adblock dns to my wifi network in settings and it did absolutely nothing. is it a real thing?
Luna stopped blocking ads for me, even though my VPN logo is still up on my phone.
Does anyone else have this problem right now?
What’s an alternative if the situation doesn’t work out?
Hi, i recently switched from android to ios and, as expected, not having yt vanced is very annoying. Is there any similar software working as of now?
THX!
What I am looking for is something that will block all the ads that cover SO much of the content when you click on an article that opens in the Facebook browser. They make the articles unreadable and I'm getting really fed up with it!
This is what grows through my head when a site begs me to turn off my ad blocker. I can get they need the ads to make money to keep the sites going so I sometimes feel guilty for them. I was wondering if it doesn't exist yet that there should be an ad blocker that works normally but tricks the site to think the ads were still up. That way we don't deal with annoying ads but the site still gets revenue. Hopefully, it could be possible and legal. What do you think?
For the past couple of days, my Luna Adblock worked just fine. Today however, it completely stopped working for no reason. I tried uninstalling the profile from my phone and reinstalling it, I tried switching between cellular and wifi connection. I’m at a lost. Can someone help me?
Hi, I am looking for the best hosts file for blocking ads on Windows 11.
What would you guys recommend?
Last time I used the hosts file for blocking ads I was recommended MVPS HOSTS, is this still the best out there?
I have installed it and it worked but I think it changes to "Managed by Organization" for the chrome and I am not sure how safe it is.
Has anyone looked into the code or what the Chrome policy which has to be done to make this extension work?
Thanks
So I gave Luna a shot, but it only worked for a day before it stopped blocking ads.
On iphone 7 with ios 15.7.3. it works perfectly. No one ads in games. But on iphone 11 with ios 16.3.1. the adblock with same settings do nothing. A lot of ads appear in same games. Its about the newer ios, or other problem? What can i do?
i wanted to know if there was a way to block youtube ads for free on my samsung tv, its been to bothersome lately because i use adblock on pc and YT vanced on phone, its annoying sitting through 2 ads every time i open a vid.
i looked at some past posts and they said to add these uls to my routers blocklist. but after doing so, i still get ads
samsungads.com config.samsungads.com samsungotn.net samsungacr.com log-config.samsungacr.com ads.samsung.com gpm.samsungqbe.com ads.samsungads.com samsungcloudsolution.com samsungcloudsolution.net
another thing was to change my dns on the tv to 94.140.14.14, that did not help ether.
thanks for all the help in advance! :)
Let me first just say I am a Google fanboy and know NOTHING about iOS....
I was in a group with a friend and he mentioned that he doesn't like to play games on his phone because of too many ads that try to get him to install stuff.
Knowing that ad blockers take away this problem completely and have many other benefits, I am gonna offer to set up ad blocking on his phone so he can play games again.
One of the few things I DO KNOW about iOS is that you can't sideload apps from outside the app store and am narrowing my options to adblocking DNS servers as opposed to apps.
I use NextDNS on my Google Pixel 6, but I know that dns.adguard.com is so much quicker to set up and a lot easier for someone like him to do.
The last time I had dns.adguard.com set up on my phone, it drained my battery INSANELY fast and I want to know if it'll do the same on iPhones before I go and tell him to do this.

Hello everyone, I am seeking some advice regarding a problem we are experiencing with the Spam404 filter. Our website appears to be blocked by the filter used by the Adblock Ultimate extension, which has resulted in a significant decrease in traffic to our site. Despite thoroughly reviewing our website and not finding any malicious content or intrusive ads that could be causing the filter to be triggered, we are still being blocked. I have attempted to contact the Spam404 server, but I have not received a response. Can you suggest any additional steps I can take to resolve this issue with the filter? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. [link] [comments] |
