LunaVPN (a profile using adblock) is a good choice to avoid yt and some games ads, but I'd like to keep a regular connection for bank and other apps. Is it possible or do I have to turn it off and on each time? I mean, maybe it's possible to do an automated shortcut to disable VPN before using expecifics apps and also another shortcut to turn it on again after that, but it sound awful.
Basicly what im asking, is there a way to get past these pop-ups on websites where it asks you to turn off your ad blocker as it is quite annoying, as I see no other way around it than to turn off my adblocker.
So i'm wondering, is there a such thing as a 'Ad blocker blocker blocker' which blocks these pop-ups complaining about your Ad blocker?

Ok so in some games they do this popup ad literally every 20 seconds which forces the user to either watch the ad , buy the subscription or force close game and reopen (however it pops up shortly after a few spins As you can see from vid after golf rival ad finished, another popped up but was able to close it. I was able to hit spin 4 times and then the take a break thing popped. So damn annoying . I was hoping to stop these ads but mostly the forced take a break aka buy me popup ad. All of a sudden, YouTube videos that I am watching just started buffering like crazy. I thought it was a YouTube issue but I checked #Youtubedown on Twitter and there were no results. I then started watching YouTube on Google Chrome which I still have OG Adblock and Adblock Plus but no Ublock Origin (You know why) and YouTube began working again and with no buffering.
So I am asking if anyone else is having the same issue.
Musi is an app I’ve been using for a while. I’ve had no problems. Musi runs directly off of YouTube and can be downloaded on the App Store, it’s like a mix between Spotify and YouTube music. The only ads it has is pop up ads and those don’t even make sound, you just have to close out of them.
The TotalAd Site has recently become rather dysfunctional to the point I can't actually just cancel my subscription.
I emailed them the relevant info to cancel my subscription, but have gotten nothing back, and there was a post about TotalAd ceasing to function here and I'm curious if they've just stopped billing their users.
Back when YouTube was cracking down, I was trying to get an adblock method that would work, and ended up buying a yearly subscription, but I don't need it anymore, and am trying to cancel it.
I've been using 2 adblocks, they used to work just fine, but now there're some of their own ads that are getting though
I was looking at what google recommends using instead of ublock origin and it recommends Stands AdBlocker. But when i checked it i found a strange thing. Ublock with it's 36m users has 31k reviews, but Stands AdBlocker with 1m users has 145k reviews. Seems like botted reviews.
Just got a new laptop, Lenovo with windows 11. Want a solid Ad blocker, don’t mind paying a bit, but need something that can go undetected. I’ve tried both Adblock and Adguard and both still trigger the “we see you’re using an ad blocker” pop ups on some sites.

I'm using safari on the newest version of MacOs and my old ad blocker made the annoying message below pop up. I switched to using the safari extension AdBlock Pro and it only works after I refresh the page, so every video that I open I have to wait for it to load, then refresh, wait for it to load again, and only THEN I can watch the video. I've also tried using many chromium based browsers like google chrome or brave, with different extension like Ublock Origin, but they only work for a period of time, and then they just stop. I've been having issues with the mini pc plugged into the TV and my soundbar so I'm switching over to just using the TV apps. The only issue is everything I watch on apps now have apps. I can't believe sitting though ads was a thing. For instance I'm watching a movie on Amazon prime that goes through freeve but it contains ads. If I watcher this on my pc I would get no ads. On the TV I have an ad every 20 minutes during a horror movie which really kills the vibe. Is there a way to block ads across the whole network like ad block does for chrome?
I'm fine with banner ads and ones that just sit on the page, even if they're animated. I don't like when i click something on the site and an ad pops up that i have to close to go to the page i want nor when i read an article and an unrelated video pops up and starts playing. I've tried the option to show acceptable ads on some, but they still seem to be very extreme with what they target.
We're back to the Kari lake filter. Running ABP and Ublock. I wonder how YT / Google does this. Certain IP areas, country locations.... I assume all done by BOT. Who else is experiencing?

So I have been playing a game called kour.io and I have an adblocker called Ublock Origin. The problem arises as there are like chests and daily rewards that require watching an ad for a specific amount of time before it gives you a reward. I was able to bypass this using crazygames however it does not allow you to sign into the account and anyways I wanted to use the real site. The thing is that kour checks for how long the ad has been played for and so, if there was a delay before blocking the ad, it would mean that it allows me to claim the reward. In Ublock Origin, there is a rules setting which allows you to set custom rules and I want to implement one that waits before blocking the ad. Can any of you guys help as I am not sure how to do it myself.

I'm very new to the world of ad blocking. Is it possible to block ads on the mobile apps for YouTube and Hulu? I don't know if this will affect anything, but I use an Android phone.
As the title says, starting about a week, maybe two, ago my youtube tends to hang up after a minute or two of watching certain videos. I use Firefox and Ublock Origin, as recommended. I looked down the sub and I haven't seen anyone talking about this specific issue.
It's worth noting that I also use IDM (Internet Download Manager) and was able to see how, after trying to even download the videos (which has previously not been an issue) the download rate drops to 0 kb/s when this incident occurs. From where I'm sitting it almost seems like Youtube detects the adblocker and just cuts service. However I don't get any of the messages others have talked about here.
Is this happening to anyone else? Any suggestions on what to do?

Are there any other Adblocking tools instead of extensions or dns methods?
sometimes when i go to websites, if i click to go to a search bar or something, it’ll take me to a different website (either casino websites or nsfw websites, cycles between) so i have to click once, close the random website, and then it lets me use the search bar. i can’t seem to find the name of this.

Spotify adds a lot of BS stuff like the skip 6 songs an hour, but only play random songs on YOUR playlist so it's basically unusable. The ads are way to overwhelming and loud when I'm listing to something soft.

So the run down on this is that they said that since they were getting there ass kicked by U-block they would take it down all together. Of next update users wont have access to ublock and it will be "banned" So that leaves the users to either switch to a new browser or use a new ad block. I know that I am done with crome and Google in general as they have gotten on my nerves. If you are looking for alternatives for youtube watching get brave it's completely free and it has automatic ad blocking as it is its own browser not chromium based and it's mission is ad free web searching and to keep privacy ligit. Edge would be second place. Ublock works although it's not foolproof.

so just about everytime i click on a youtube video, it does this thing where it'll try to play the video but the screen is just black and there's no audio. i still have to wait the duration of the ad unless i refresh the page, which then finally removes the ad. is there any way to fix this issue?

Before I was able to play YT videos with Adblock installed (I have an iPhone 15) on a TV with AirPlay but recently anytime I project, video quality is capped at 360p regardless of source quality.

I have insomnia and like to listen to 10 long white noise videos with a black screen. Recently, I've found out that Adblock Plus, as also stated I'm a mod thread, is allowing ads again for some reason. This is causing me some anxiety for nighttime. Is there a recommended adblocker I can use on an S22 for now that I can relax and not worry about an ad popping up halfway into me sleeping?

I have been using firefox and ublock origin for many years now and just today I was playing a youtube playlist, and every few videos it would be a youtube ad, but it didn't look like an ad, the interface looked like the video. Anyone else had this happen? The ad also went away when refreshing the page, but it's still annoying since I have the playlist playing in the background.
I use Opera GX's built in adblock along with uBlock Origin, and today when I tried watching youtube, I got a warning saying video playback would be removed if I keep using an adblock for three videos, any solutions?

If you open a video you can notice - first you see the empty frame of the video and then it updates with an ad - if you can press X on the page loading where the refresh is located BEFORE the AD but after the video being loaded - you can get ad-free experience. This has probably been asked already. But any good ad block for IOS/iPhone. It’s annoying trying to read an article or just some comics/manga online and ads keep popping up.
I’m not looking to buy anything, unless it’s cheap and it actually works. I have used over browsers but chrome I prefer as it’s easier for passwords and has all my history and information on my PC.

(Using Chrome) I tried a bunch of different blockers but none seem to work anymore. I don't even get some black screen or error message like before, they just don't work. I just get 6 minute long unskippable ads. How can I fix this?
In the last two days, when I go to sites where I have ABP enabled, I get a popup dialog from the ABP extension (in Chrome) recommending that I buy Premium in order to block cookie accepting prompts, which I then have to stop and close. Annoying as fuck for an AD BLOCKING EXTENSION. It was bad enough just having to close the "ABP has been updated" tab that opens regularly but this is even worse.

I'm stuck at home with covid right now and have been watching YouTube videos while I recover. Today though my Chrome suddenly had a new ad block extension that self-populated amongst my other extensions called "no ads ad blocker" and started causing issues for me. I didn't notice until YouTube videos (the literal video element not the audio) wouldn't load. I never elected to install this nor have I heard of it before. I already use another ad-blocking extension so would anyone happen to know anything about this and should I be concerned that it added itself and was also overriding my normal ad-block extension's settings?
