How to block youtube ads on safari?

I'm using safari on the newest version of MacOs and my old ad blocker made the annoying message below pop up. I switched to using the safari extension AdBlock Pro and it only works after I refresh the page, so every video that I open I have to wait for it to load, then refresh, wait for it to load again, and only THEN I can watch the video. I've also tried using many chromium based browsers like google chrome or brave, with different extension like Ublock Origin, but they only work for a period of time, and then they just stop. (also the chromium browsers take too much ram).
