On AdGuard extension on all browsers.
A method to refresh YouTube and prevent detection: (a 5-second delay, or "Experiencing Interruptions?")
YouTube's adblock detection is triggered when you reload the video page directly (watch?v=...), You block ad-related scripts or containers, and You use extensions that modify the player aggresively.
To avoid it...
Instead of pressing F5 or refreshing the video page directly (watch?v=...), do this:
- Search for the video again using YouTube’s search bar.
- Click on the video from the search results.
Why it works:
- YouTube’s adblock detection is triggered when you reload the video page directly.
- Clicking through search results mimics organic navigation and avoids detection flags.
Bonus Tips
- Avoid using browser refresh or reloading the tab.
- Clear cookies and cache occasionally to reset tracking fingerprints.
- Use Firefox or Brave with uBlock Origin for stronger privacy protection.
- Disable aggressive player-modifying extensions that might trigger detection.
Clicking on the video on YouTube will not detect adblock, but refreshing a video detects adblocks.
