Is it safe to use uBlock Origin Lite on YouTube right now, or should I disable it?

I'm using uBlock Origin Lite on Chrome, and it's blocking YouTube ads fine for me. I keep reading that YouTube is cracking down on ad blockers, and I'm worried about my account. Should I keep it enabled, or is it smarter to disable it on YouTube to be safe?
