Step 1: Open Chrome Settings

Open your Chrome browser.
Click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the browser.
From the dropdown, select Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Extensions

In the Chrome Settings page, look for the Extensions link on the left-hand menu bar (highlighted in the first image).
Click on Extensions. It will open the Chrome extensions management page.

Step 3: Enable uBlock Origin

On the Extensions page, locate the uBlock Origin extension.
If the toggle switch next to it is turned off (gray), click the switch to turn it on (blue), as highlighted in the second image.

Go to settings in uBlock, navigate to 'My Filters', and add the following:

youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.openPopupConfig.supportedPopups.adBlockMessageViewModel, false) youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.adBlocksFound, 0) youtube.com##+js(set, ytplayer.config.args.raw_player_response.adPlacements, []) youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.hasAllowedInstreamAd, true)

Then, click 'Apply Changes'.
