Adguard and NextDNS on iPhone?

Hi I am so sick of adverts recently and decided to do something about it. I have the following idea and was wondering if someone could critique it?

Laptop: (I am somewhat content with this)

I am using Fedora on my Laptop. The browsers I am using are Brave and Firefox

• Browser Ads: Brave Shields for Brave / uBlock Origin for Firefox
• DNS Ads: NextDNS for further ad blocking
• VPN: ProtonVPN

iPhone: (I am having issues with this):

I am using Safari for my browsing.

• Browser Ads: Adguard
• In App Ads: Adguard
• DNS Ads: NextDNS
• VPN: ProtonVPN

For the iPhone setup I have heard that Adguard uses its own DNS and a proxy for blocking in app adverts. Will using Adguard interfere with using ProtonVPN or NextDNS?

This leads me to think, is NextDNS even needed for the iPhone setup? If it isnt, what can I use instead for my Laptop setup for DNS?

Note that I am getting protonVPN included with my proton plan. I am also thinking of purchasing the Adguard lifetime plan (I am not sure entirely what this includes). I also do not mind paying, but would like to keep the cost as down as possible for the best possible performance.
