Is YouTube slowing me down again even with the Firefox + uBlock Origin combo?

I noticed just now that youtube seems slower. I checked to see if my computer needed any updates but it didn't.
It is taking a second to respond to imputs.

EX: skip 10 seconds, go back 10 seconds, pause/play, etc.

Any Ideas for why and what I should do to fix it?
