Yahoo Mail is entirely unusable - any workarounds?

TL;DR of the situation is that they're forcing this paid ad blocking plan while saying I have an adblocker enabled; even when I don't. I am now essentially blocked from using my account unless I turn EVERYTHING off and have to get my data tracked. Tbh this might make me completely move off of Yahoo for the first time, ever.
