BeachBrowser – macOS Ad-Blocking Mini Browser 🏄🏼‍♀️🌊🏝️

Hello friends, Like many of you, I’ve been frustrated by YouTube’s recent adblock detection changes and the tightening of Chrome Web Store policies. To work around this, I started building a Mac native mini browser app with ad blocking capability, using the same filter lists as uBlock Origin, as well as some additional filters I have included for YouTube. ✅ What’s working Blocks YouTube ads during playback, on the homepage, and in the sidebar PIP Mode (always stays on top of other window) 🔧 In progress Wildcard element selector UI (custom block rules) (mostly working) Add custom rules Import custom filter list VPN Bookmarks (mostly working) 💡 Looking for feedback I’d love to hear feature suggestions from the community. Let me know what functionality you’d want in a lightweight, ad-blocking Mac browser and I will try to have it included before the first release.
