YouTube has changed. You now need an account to watch and the site is blocking (Firefox) uBlock Origin. What Ad/Privacy Blockers still work? [FEB 2026, AUSTRALIA]

I guess Google is going scorched earth now? So I guess you can't watch YouTube on hotel room/Airbnb TV's now without logging into an account? My browser is Firefox with uBlock Origin and for me for at least a month now AdBlock stopped working with video playback, but I worked around it by just watching them in a container tab/incognito window, (or even just downloading them) but YouTube has now blocked videos from playing without being logged into an account. And if you are logged in it's still blocked against any detected AdBlockers. Is anyone else suffering from this? Are there a know workarounds? Am I the only one? Incognito.
