How to block banner ads in desktop mail client?

The first screenshot is of an email newsletter when viewed through the icloud web client. I've got the Adblock chrome extension installed, so there are no ads. The second screenshot is of the same email when viewed via the default macos mail desktop app. How can I replicate the ad blocking I have in the browser version in the desktop app? submitted by /u/Key_Cloud8633 [link] [comments]
