very specific issue with youtube and ublock origin

When i visit youtube with ublock origin turned on (this issue goes away entirely by shutting off ubo) for whatever reason whenever i open a youtube page by clicking a link from another site or by typing a url manually, a good chunk of the page just doesn't render (this also happens when you do literally anything requiring a full refresh, such as reloading the page, backtracking pages, or if the page just randomly decides to refresh itself) on the home page that usually looks like this: https://preview.redd.it/tpkmb14j8rqh1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=d303485853018fa708deaa562e01867a2bda2a9c while on video pages it tends to look like this (the video itself does play but the rest of the page refuses to render, which includes the recommended videos, video metadata, comments, etc.) https://preview.redd.it/klv2aeb49rqh1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=49ffeb27b1afe5773b55359be3b16e8ba9893acb clicking on other links (such as the "home" tab in the side menu) from what little loads usually temporarily fixes the issue of the site not rendering anything, however as soon as i reload the page (or if i click on a youtube link from another site/open youtube in a new tab), the issues come back and i have to do a whole slew of workarounds to get the page to render correctly i was wondering if there's any known fixes for this particular issue so that i don't need to keep doing these workarounds submitted by /u/GTStationYT [link] [comments]
