I know a lot of people here probably haven't seen an online ad in years lol, but I thought this would be an interesting topic to discuss.
I always thought online ads were mostly just annoying, as long as you didn't click on anything suspicious.
But I recently read that some malicious ads can actually put you at risk without clicking anything, especially if your browser has security vulnerabilities.
Kind of scary when you think about it.
Now I'm wondering if using an ad blocker is more about security than convenience.
Do you guys use ad blockers mainly to get rid of ads, or for privacy and security reasons? Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
