Why does BlockAds score higher than AdGuard on ad-blocking tests?

As a student with limited technical expertise, I’m trying to understand something I’ve noticed: on ad-blocking test sites, BlockAds scores higher than AdGuard, even though AdGuard appears to offer more features, including HTTPS filtering and the ability to use its own CA certificate and it also want a lot of permission. Feed filter for Facebook on Android Edge Browser?

Facebook has simply become unusable with all the AI slop recommendations and ads. I have FB Purity on my computer and it has restored my FB experience, but I can't find anything similar that works on mobile android. Has anyone found a working solution?

Building local Reddit ai posts/comments blocker (still developing)

Hey guys, this is my first year project for my cs innovation course. Its completely local and runs on a modified roberta class detection model that uses webgpu or cpu fall back plus a customised bayesian algorithim for keywords. I built this after realising how flooded many subs are by ai generated posts and comments, some of them are probably useful, but most are annoying and are ads for some service, epsecially when you are trying to see some genuine interactions and advice on reddit. I guess what im looking for will be some opinions on the interface e.g. blurring, tags etc. or just generic feedbacks. I mainly use YouTube and streaming sites on Safari, what setting would y’all recommend to block ads there. If there is a better alternative for Wblock for my purpose please suggest that too!
