I mostly use the native YouTube, YouTube Music and Spotify apps on my iPhone, and the number of ads has become increasingly frustrating.
Firefox with uBlock Origin works reasonably well for browser playback, but I’d prefer to keep using the native apps. I’m interested in device-level or network-level options that don’t require jailbreaking or constantly changing settings.
What are you currently using on iOS or Android? Does it still work after app updates, and are there any drawbacks such as battery drain, slower loading, broken playback or missed ads?
Please mention your operating system and actual limitations. I’m looking for real experiences rather than referral links.
