Adblock extension on firefox suddenly stopping me from viewing almost any webpage

Have only noticed this issue today but basically any recipe website that I've opened redirects to this page with takes me to instructions on how to disable my adblocker and then to refresh to access the content. Only I first paused on page as directed and refreshed, then dis-activated my adblocker and refreshed, and the page will still repeat with this message without allowing me to access the content. I've never seen this before and I have tried to open multiple recipe pages now with the adblocker disabled, and I still get this message. The pages only work if I open them on Edge.
